The term “sustainable development” is the harmonious development of society in which the current needs of people are met while preserving the environment without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Since 1987, the term “sustainable development” has become widespread after the report “Our Common Future” prepared by the International Commission on Environment and Development. It defined sustainable development as development that meets the needs of the present generation without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Nowadays, more people are paying special attention to the ideas of sustainable development. The world will be peaceful when every politician puts the interests of each individual and the preservation of planet Earth, our common home, at the center of his or her agenda
